The previous two pictures of the fabulous outfit in blue are my first real forays into interviewing someone about their own personal style.
I was at the library when I was struck by the brilliant color of the woman's coat/sweater and the unusual combination of the studded belt she paired with it.
I enjoyed talking to her and finding out about her ideas of what she considered to be stylish and how she enjoyed dressing.
She also shared a bit of her beautifully accented denim skirt and jacket she had on underneath her coat, as well as her brilliantly-colored and studded ballet shoes.
I cannot express how much I admire the colors and materials she chose.
She told me she loves flowing fabrics that do not constrict the wearer, as do I.
She shared a bit about taking inspiration from various art mediums from Kenya, expressing how they impart a certain circular continuity.  I thought it was gorgeous the way she described it, a flowing from one beautiful stroke of a brush to the next.
I loved the chance to talk about this woman's style and ideas.
I hope you will leave a post with feedback if you would like!
And I hope all can enjoy her style and beautiful observations of the world.
