in my head
let it out.
it's fighting
it's beating
against my skull.
it's pulsing
in my chest.
it hurts.
it aches.

To: Bimbo the Clown
Ha!
You no longer have control over me!
I take joy with my fellow brothers and sisters; we hold hands and at the same time give you the finger.
Goodbye, and good riddance.
We have thrown water on you and you are a puddle
Draining away
Disappearing
in a foul green cloud
Before we can even walk over you.
Suck it!
Go to hell
do not pass go
and stay there.
Satan could use a nice crutch.
Here's to putting you out of our minds
Forever.
Don't let the door hit you
on the way.
You no longer have control over me!

This girl has wonderful style and a smile to stop hearts.
Dream job: To own a bakery
How would you describe your style? A little bit of everything, kind of edgy. In one word? Costumes
Favorite fashion trends: Sparkles
Least favorite trends: Ballet flats
Fashion influences: 70’s styles, pics of my mom in that decade
Do you have piercings or tattoos? 2 of each. Do they have significance? The bass guitar tattoo is because I play, and the seashell tattoo is because of the book “Gift from the Sea.”
People say I look like . . . . Luna Lovegood
Tell us a secret! I have a really big crush on a certain boy, but he doesn’t know

Lace
Family relationships -> lace—making, history..
A beautiful wedding dress is back-lit by sun streaming through the window. Threads weave over the satin in a delicate cobweb.
Lace is an accessory not always noticed but part of many noteworthy events in life. It can add an eye-catching detail to an otherwise unremarkable outfit. Many different countries throughout Europe and the Middle East have had long and proud traditions of lace-making as an important, artistic part of expression in their respective cultures. In ancient Egypt, fine linen garments were worn and provided the necessary background for openwork décor of the fabric.
Lace-making is a time-honored tradition and a respected craft. Lace as we know it today was not created until the late 15th century. This latest version is formed by looping, twisting, or braiding a thread, which can be made from different types of threads. One must work several threads together, independently from a backing or supporting fabric, to create lace.
Garments accented with lace are silent but welcome guests at many important events in life, such as baptisms, formal dinners, and family holidays. I complimented one of my friends on her beautiful top, which was a soft maroon velour overlaid with a rose design in black lace. She related to me that she’s had the blouse for years, and it is a comforting favorite to her.
Lace accents are a part of many of my garments as well, and I am often guilty forgetting it is there. This can lead to unintentional snags and rips. This absentmindedness on my part is also undoubtedly due to the ridiculous amounts of clothing that I have.
One Christmas with my family, I wore a gold velour camisole with lace across the top under a sweater. As I sat quietly eating and listening, I observed how different emotions were skating under the surfaces of conversations. My grandfather sat in his comfortable chair, smiling and speaking with whoever passed, happy to interact. My grandmother bustled in the kitchen, once again providing my family with a warm, lovely holiday.
My relatives all love each other, and while the holidays can be stressful, I can always see their desire to express their love and reinforce those delicate, lacey ties of family. With neglect or absentmindedness, sometimes those ties can suffer. But with quiet care, our family makes up a beautiful tapestry.
luvn the 80s
I'm gonna wax poetic on the 80s.. :) Adam and the Ants, Siouxie and the Banshees....ah they make me wanna uh uh :) K, yeah----the music, the fashion----all speak of a delicious decadance.

The previous two pictures of the fabulous outfit in blue are my first real forays into interviewing someone about their own personal style.
I was at the library when I was struck by the brilliant color of the woman's coat/sweater and the unusual combination of the studded belt she paired with it.
I enjoyed talking to her and finding out about her ideas of what she considered to be stylish and how she enjoyed dressing.
She also shared a bit of her beautifully accented denim skirt and jacket she had on underneath her coat, as well as her brilliantly-colored and studded ballet shoes.
I cannot express how much I admire the colors and materials she chose.
She told me she loves flowing fabrics that do not constrict the wearer, as do I.
She shared a bit about taking inspiration from various art mediums from Kenya, expressing how they impart a certain circular continuity. I thought it was gorgeous the way she described it, a flowing from one beautiful stroke of a brush to the next.
I loved the chance to talk about this woman's style and ideas.
I hope you will leave a post with feedback if you would like!
And I hope all can enjoy her style and beautiful observations of the world.

I contacted someone about having a fashion blog, as I used to enjoy reading it in lawrence.com and it is no longer current.
So the guy emailed me back asking for my resume, I sent it, and now nothing.
Bitch.
Anyway, I emailed him to follow up, so we'll see.
But I could even do my own one if I want!
Maybe I will do that!!! :)
